A majority of our business is direct customer referrals. We want you to refer your friends, family, and colleagues. We understand the only way this will happen is if we were both great on quality of work and pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Over 99% of our calls are same day appointments. We want to help you quickly. We don’t charge more for evenings, weekends, or holidays. No one likes surprises and we fully understand that. No low quotes to get us in your home only to add several "unexpected" expenses when we are there.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Garage Doors and Openers are just like everything else. You will get what you pay for. This doesn't mean you should have to re-mortgage your home to get a quality product, but be careful of extremely low quotes.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Be cautious of companies offering free service calls. The service industry has a bad reputation for taking advantage of customers and we find this happens frequently with companies offering free service calls only to charge higher prices for standard work. At Distinctive we charge a small service fee that is always credited towards repairs so we know you are as serious as we are about quality service. Our new door install estimates are always free.
